We are a group of individuals from diverse backgrounds and professions who have come together as trustees to run Chiltern Welcomes: Barbra Georgellis, Nozomi Okuyama and Mark Roberts.
Former Psychology teacher, mum to two, currently studying for an MSc. Having worked with refugees studying at Uxbridge College, 25 years ago, I was inspired by their courage & determination.
Journalist, aspiring writer and mum to two, originally from Japan. My interest in refugee issues started from covering stories from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Jordan and Iraq.
Management consultant, local councillor and former Mayor of Amersham. Grew up in the Chilterns. My interest in refugee issues stems from my family history and international outlook.
